About Us
Summer with SEVAC
During the rally season we put on working displays around the South East as part of larger shows. There are also Road Runs and Vintage Ploughing matches.
What is SEVAC?
The club was formed to encourage the interest in “working” agricultural equipment of days gone-by.
Socials
During the winter there are evening meetings that include speakers, yummy food and plenty of entertainment for those interested in vintage and modern agricultural vehicles.
Who are our members?
Apart from the obvious tractors, members are very much into restoration of implements and stationary farm machines, thus showing the public the labour that went into farming in the past and also some of the less easily operated gadgets of the past. There is also interest in country crafts, thatching, fencing and hedge laying. Many of the members have a very little to do with farming these days but were either brought up on the land or just have an interest, whatever the reason, it’s in the blood and will not easily go away.
What else do you get with your membership?
There is a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date as well as read some interesting articles from people with similar interests to yourself.
